How to Support a Missionary

Gifts to Individuals

The best method by which you can financially support the ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is to give directly to the individual student or staff whom you'd like to support. Simply contact them about the best way to get your check (made out to IVCF) to them. This allows them to keep better track of their funding needs as they prepare to head overseas. (It also allows each of you to catch up and anticipate together the project ahead.) If you're interested in ongoing support of an InterVarsity employee, ask the staff member about Electronic Funds Transfers.

Anonymous Gifts to Individuals

Sending a check directly to InterVarsity (made out to IVCF). If you would like to give to someone anonymously, this would be the best method of giving. Be sure you list the specific student or staff and the name of the specific place where he/she is going on in the memo line. Send gifts to:

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
ATTN: Dononation Services
PO Box 7895
Madison, WI 53715
Phone: (608) 274-9001

Gifts to a Specific Global Project

You may wish to simply give a gift to a specific Global Project or the Global Urban Trek. In this case, send your gift to the address above with the name of the specific place noted in the memo line. Your support will assist those on the team who are most in need.

General Gifts to Global Projects

Finally, if you would like to give a general gift to Global Projects, we'll utilize your support for projects with the greatest needs. Usually this results in financial assistance that in some way helps each of the 700 students going overseas each year. Just send your gift to the address above and note "Global Project, general gift" in the memo line.
