Empowered
Reunited with our Lover, he asks: "Will you love the loveless with me?"

Jesus calls us to receive the Spirit of God: "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, 'Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38)

God's Spirit unites us as a people, brings us wholeness and healing. And this same Spirit empowers us to endure hardship for the sake of the Gospel, for the sake of loving those around us.

Nothing can prevent God from completing his mission. God loves us enough to give us his Spirit that we may love the loveless, including ourselves, our peers, families, enemies and those without the love of Jesus.

Today, we'll explore what this means in our daily lives. We'll dare to believe God for his empowerment and trust that his Spirit is with us, through trials and suffering, as a river of living water.
