Come, Lord Jesus!
Don't give up because the Lover's coming for us.

Our hope is in Jesus Christ, the author and hero of our Story. We're called to join him in his suffering, follow him in a lifestyle of sacrificial loving. We worship God and we dedicate our lives to call the entire world to worship him.

None of this will be easy, glorious and satisfying maybe, but not easy. But God has blessed us with his Spirit. We've been empowered to do his bidding and are thus made able.

So tonight we celebrate communion together. We pray for the nations of the world. We look upon God's Story and praise him for granting us a part in this grand tale.

For the final time this week, we gather in musical worship and sing the hymns of praise we'll one day sing at Jesus' feet with all the saints. In one voice we bow before Jesus, bringing in the New Year, clinging to him as our only hope as we cry, "Come, Lord Jesus! Come!"
