July 2008

Week of February 5
- We thank all of you who have faithfully prayed with us up to and through Urbana 06!! We appreciate each one of you and rejoice with you in how the Lord answered our prayers at Urbana. Please go to our website and share with us by logging onto different talks, worship times, etc. to see how God was glorified at Urbana.
- Many of us will be leaving our Urbana jobs, and some have already left these jobs. Please pray the Lord would lead each one of us to finish well in our Urbana jobs and to trust Him to show us how and where we are to partner with Him in new jobs.
- Ask the Lord to continue to prompt people to write in their Urbana stories to bless us all!
Week of July 30
- Urbana Exhibits - Thank you for your prayers - We now have an assistant for our Exhibits Manager who will begin August 1st. Please pray God will help them learn their job quickly, and our Urbana Team will also be helpful in this process as well.
- Urbana Seminars - Ask God to help our Seminar Speakers discern whether they are to accept their invitations to speak at Urbana 06 or not.
- Urbana Bible Study - Please pray our Bible Study Manager & Expositor will work well together from a distance as they integrate the message and teaching from Ephesians that will come at Urbana 06.
Week of July 23
- Urbana Plenary - Please ask God to help our Dance Leadership Team discern and choose the dancers for Urbana 06.
- Urbana Operations is still looking for a person(s) to help with transportation. Please pray just the right person(s) would volunteer soon.
- Urbana 06 Program Retreat - Praise God with us for answered prayer as we met God and each other for a very creative and fruitful time together in St. Louis.
Week of July 16
- Urbana Operations Team - Please pray that as our OPS team meets in St. Louis July 19-21 many details might come together and relationships between our team members will be strengthened.
- Urbana Exhibits - Praise God with us that we can now accept applications on-line! If your organization wants to apply, please find our site on urbana.org and apply today!
- Urbana Volunteers - You can now register as a volunteer for Urbana 06 online. We praise God for all who have already registered to help us. Please pray God would raise up all the volunteers we need.
- Please ask God to continue to call all whom He desires to come to Urbana 06.
Week of July 9
- Please pray the Lord would raise up all the Volunteers we will need to work part-time and full-time jobs at Urbana 06.
- Speaker Retreat in St. Louis - We ask the Lord to be very present with us as we meet this month with our Urbana 06 speakers to pray, share, and work together to glorify God at Urbana 06.
- Urbana Exhibitor on-line registration and housing has not gone on-line yet. Please pray the Lord would prepare the way for it to go online this week!
Week of July 2
- Urbana Exhibits - Please pray the Lord would call an assistant to work with Emily Potter with Exhibits.
- Urbana Operations is still looking for someone to assist with Urbana transportation. Please pray God would call someone soon!
- Urbana Prayer - Please pray that the Lord would raise up all the Intercessors for Urbana 06 whom he would call to pray both on and off-site.
Week of February 27
- Pray for the Urbana Theater Team as they finish a script and prepare to invite actors and actresses to perform at Urbana.
- Please pray for our Urbana Prayer Ministry Leadership Team as they meet together in St. Louis from March 2-5 to pray, strategize and join other prayer ministry people from St. Louis and other cities at a Spiritual Healing conference March 4th at St. Louis University.
- Urbana.org Team asks for prayer for wisdom in producing quality articles, book reviews and more.
- Please pray for the Urbana Worship Team as they minister at the Multiethnic Staff Conference this week.
Week of February 20
- Director of Urbana, Jim Tebbe, has a heavy traveling schedule - Pray for appropriate rest, clear communications, and the ability to delegate and supervise well.
- February 20th is the first meeting of the “Urbana Plenary Program Advisory Committee” - Pray that they would know God’s presence and hear his voice.
- Pray for Andrea Menz, new Urbana Registrar, as she learns her job and answers questions for people about registration, which went “online” January 31st.
- Please pray for the Urbana Worship Team as they minister at the LaFe Staff Conference this weekend.
