How to Apply and Register for Global Connexions at Urbana 09
To exhibit at Global Connexions you will need to:
- apply
- be accepted
- reserve booths
- register representatives
- arrange representative housing.
To maximize your experience at Urbana you will be able to recommend seminar leaders and order additional furnishings or services for your exhibit.
To Apply:
Urbana 06 Exhibitors
- Login into your MSearch Account, www.urbana.org/orgs.
(If you have difficulty accessing your account, please contact the Exhibits Manager at urbanaexhibits@intervarsity.org) - Complete the Urbana 09 Exhibitor Application by doing the following:
- Verify the accuracy of answers from your Urbana 06 application
- Correct any outdated information
- Complete any new questions on the application
- Submit the application for consideration.
- The application is reviewed and then approved, declined or waitlisted.
- Complete and update all data in MSearch.
New Prospective Exhibitors
- Submit the online request to apply to the Exhibits Manager.
- The request form will be reviewed and responded to with either a temporary password to access MSearch or a decline of the request. (A reply will be received within 5 business days.)
- Using the provided password, create an Urbana 09 Exhibitor Account through www.urbana.org/orgs, making sure to change your password.
- Complete all data in the application.
- There are multiple sections of the application. They can be completed in any order. You may use the "save partial information" button at the bottom of each section to save the information you have entered and complete the section at a later date. Once each section is complete select the "save completed form" button at the bottom of each page.
- To start the application follow the "Begin Application" link from the Global Connnexions section of the home page or select a section from the menu on the left of the screen.
- When all sections are complete, submit your application. Follow the "Submit Application" link from the links on the left of the page.
- Submit the application for consideration.
- The application is reviewed and then approved, declined, or waitlisted.
- Complete or update all data in MSearch.
While You're Waiting:
Complete the Demographics, Policies & Practices and Matching Data sections. You can access these sections from the links on the left of the page. You'll need to complete both sections before you can reserve booths or register representatives.
Once You're Accepted:
- Complete the Exhibitor Legal Agreement and submit to the Exhibits Manager. (After this is correctly completed and received, you will receive a group code to access representative registration.)
- Reserve booths by following the link from the Global Connexions section of the home page.
- Register your organization's representatives.
- Arrange their housing using the information provided in the Housing Instructions referred to in your representative registration confirmation.
- Submit requests for additional booth furnishings or services beginning the summer of 2009.
For declined or waitlisted organizations, a communication will be sent describing their status, the reason for the decline, or the expectations for the waitlist.
