Biography of Carolyn Carney

Carolyn has served on InterVarsity staff for over twenty years, mostly in urban settings and spent two years in South Africa on InterVarsity Link Staff serving the student movement there(2002-2004) . She attributes her love of stories and storytelling to her Irish and Southern roots.

Carolyn Carney, writer of the Who Is My Neighbor columnCarolyn currently serves as the Director of Spiritual Formation and Integral Mission for the NY/NJ Region of InterVarsity. She makes her home in Jersey City, NJ where she is easily distracted by the smell of coffee brewing or an invitation for anything that even remotely hints of a social occasion.
